Photography that inspires

I loved having Emma as my photographer on my wedding day. She displayed beautiful pictures that enhanced the beauty of the day, but did not make it look fake. I loved the pictures Emma took, but I mainly chose her because of her demeanor. I wanted a very calm, peaceful photographer who added to the joy of the wedding day. Emma was very sweet, and I loved how she listened to me in our pre-meetings. On the wedding day, Emma just disappeared into the background and captured the most important moments while not getting in the way, or making the day feel like a photo op. I desired to have no more than an hour of standing photos/romantic shoot after the wedding mass, and she made that happen. The rest of the night she got candid photos that I know I will treasure forever.

We've done a handful of sessions with Emma, both in Arizona and Virginia, and mostly with a moody toddler who isn't being very cooperative. Each session, she has delivered an absolutely beautiful gallery with photos that we will forever cherish! She manages to capture the sweetest moments between both my husband and I and our son, and even when he's not cooperating, she manages to get us such a good number of shots where he looks like he's having a blast! She understands photography and editing as art forms and understands motherhood and the bond between mother and child(ren) so well, and each image beautifully conveys that. We could not recommend her enough!
